The plants deliver high performance when processing mixed collections of materials such as: aluminium with iron parts, electric motors, electrical panels with wiring, mixed electrical components from WEEE, and more.
The grinding cycle
Each plant is designed according to the customer’s specific needs: from the type of mixed metals to be processed, to the desired hourly throughput, and the required separation level. Our modular solutions easily adapt to different operational contexts, ensuring efficiency and flexibility. The treatment process involves a combination of shredding and grinding, carried out using Panizzolo industrial shredders and hammer mills. This phase allows metals to be released from inert materials, enabling accurate separation and the subsequent recovery of valuable fractions.
The refining cycle
The non-ferrous mixed fluff coming from the primary treatment cycle can be processed in End-of-Waste mode using the Panizzolo refining plant. Thanks to patented mechanical technologies such as refining mills and specific separation systems, the plant can treat abrasive materials containing steel and inert components, while maximizing the recovery of copper, aluminium, and brass granules. The result is an impurity-free output, ready to be reintroduced as secondary raw material into the production cycle.
