MSWtreatment plant
For a simple and profitable recovery of municipal solid waste, we design turnkey plants that deliver superior-quality ferrous proler, ready for direct sale to foundries.
Key strengths
Modular systems
The treatment technologies allow to achieve the particle size and degree of separation best suited to company needs. A wide range of separation accessories can be integrated at any time to maximize the recovery and valorization of secondary raw materials.
Mechanical treatment
Panizzolo solutions apply only mechanical and in-line treatment cycles, optimizing the process in terms of simplicity, costs, and production results.
Low management costs
Delivered as turnkey solutions, Panizzolo plants guarantee operating costs below the market average, increasing productivity and improving overall profitability.
Centralised management
The Panizzolo software ensures centralized control of all plant technologies. It automatically monitors and adjusts process parameters, providing operators with a simple and intuitive touchscreen interface.
Treatment flexibility
Thanks to specific patented elements, the machines can adapt the type and size of the input material according to the scrap and customer needs. The treatment cycle can separate municipal solid waste containing plastic, nylon, textiles, and wood up to 65% of their weight, ensuring optimal recovery of ferrous proler, aluminium, and other metals.

The treatment cycle
The production layout is defined together with the customer, adapting to the type of MSW to be treated and the required production and quality goals. Depending on requirements, the plant may include an initial volumetric reduction step with shredders or openers, followed by grinding with Panizzolo hammer mills. The cycle is completed with the recovery of metals and their separation from inerts.
