Panizzolo PreRefine hammer mills process a wide range of medium- and small-sized metal scrap, facilitating metal liberation and preparing the material for subsequent separation and recovery stages.

Routine maintenance requires only a limited number of operators, with no need for special equipment or highly specialized skills. Inspection and lubrication points are designed to be simple and intuitive.
Processable materials
PreRefine hammer mills are designed for the grinding and pre-refining of medium- and small-sized scrap, including materials containing inert and abrasive components. The series can process materials such as mixed ferrous and non-ferrous metals, WEEE scrap and fluff, aluminium housings, electric motors and transformers.
