The Kraken series is engineered for the volumetric reduction of complex scrap, including end-of-life vehicles, car bales with engines and mechanical parts, aluminium profiles, mixed metal scrap, ferrous collection scrap, WEEE and other oversized materials.

Kraken tears open critical scrap such as cylinders and tanks, helping release residual flammable gases or liquids before the next treatment stages. This reduces the risk of process anomalies and helps protect plant safety.
Easy maintenance operations
Kraken simplifies daily management and maintenance. Bearing supports protect key mechanical parts from dirt and contamination, while the quick shaft release system available on selected models helps speed up targeted interventions.

The Kraken series includes three pre-shredder models:
- PSH Kraken 2100 S, with 400 kW motor and 2,100 × 2,000 mm cutting chamber
- PSH Kraken 2300 S, with 500 kW motor and 2,300 × 2,250 mm cutting chamber
- PSH Kraken 2300, with 630 kW motor and 2,300 × 2,250 mm cutting chamber.
Unlike shredders with bolted interchangeable blades, Kraken features two shafts with fixed claws that can be regenerated by welding. This allows simpler, more autonomous maintenance, helping reduce service costs and machine downtime.
